The “Seniors’ Wellness Tour” was held in SIP on Oct 22, offering 110 senior residents a chance to experience SIP’s development achievements and learn more about local elderly care facilities and services.

The event started with a touching scene of 16 couples who have been in marriage for at least 25 years strolling hand-in-hand along the 13.14-kilometer Jinji Lake Fitness Trail, a testament to lifelong companionship.

The participants then toured Jinji Lake in boat, viewed the sculpture called “Flying”, and overlooked SIP from the Ferris wheel. They were amazed by SIP’s fast transformation into a modern, internationalized industrial park.

Many participants praised SIP’s elderly services, mentioning the community canteens, diverse activities and in-home care services for the aged.

The seniors also visited the Weiting Sub-district Local Elderly Service Center, learning details about its services such as regular medical services, health lectures, disease prevention and healthcare, and rehabilitation nursing.
