The 2025 LCR went beyond pure competition, extending into a multi-faceted carnival. During the event, the shores of Jinji Lake were transformed into vibrant sites of celebrations blending technology, music and tourist attractions.

At the Jinji Station 06, Suzhou’s first holographic 3D projection installation created an immersive visual space with cutting-edge digital technology, and the “Jinji Lake Treasure Hunt” attracted participants of all ages.

The festive atmosphere reached its peak as a series of activities were held at Wanghujiao Pier on the evenings of Oct 17 and 18. The concert started at dusk, when melodies harmonized with the shimmering lake and the nightscape, offering the audiences a memorable audio-visual experience. Simultaneously, the nighttime sailing tour gained great popularity.
