The EDC China 2025 became a hot topic on social media platforms such as Weibo, TikTok and Xiaohongshu. The event achieved more than 1.5 billion online and offline impressions.

“There is a formidable DJ lineup, and I love every one of them!” said Wu, who had flown from South China’s Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region to attend the event.

As a dedicated electronic dance music (EDM) fan, Wu had followed the EDC across multiple locations, from its debut by Yangcheng Lake in 2023 to the EDC Thailand this January.

“Compared with the 2023 version, this year’s EDC China has shown great improvements in the venue, transportation, and other aspects,” Wu said, eager to unleash his passion alongside his favorite DJs and other fans.

Yang, a girl from Hangzhou, capital of East China’s Zhejiang province, took to EDM for the first time, though she had been to many other types of concerts before.
